Many years ago we used to stumble about the upper-deck of the frigate while the whole ship was darkened.

Even helicopters were landed in the state of darkness. Blackout screens were hung and tiny red or blue lights were near invisible.

Some people are also in a constant state of blackout. Due to hurts, personal problems or perceived slights; we all seem to draw into our shells.

Jesus said: John 14..
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
And in John 4:
10 Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

In life we often need some light, some water, some guidance for our weary souls. . He who is the light and the living water is close by – closer than the air that we breath.
